Princess Asseylu Vers Allusia is not a costume with a high degree of visual impact but she was a fun cosplay to make anyways and I’m proud of the workmanship that went into it. I was feeling the need for a big fluffy dress at the time, and she fit the bill! I made a large Victorian elliptical hoop covered with an extremely fluffy 50-yards-of-tulle petticoat. and the dress is altered from Simplicity 2813, their classic Cinderella and Snow White patterns. The skirt and peplum were draped, and the collar was designed inspired by historical sources.
I still have no idea what the heck the stomach ruffles are supposed to be there for but that’s anime character designers for you.
