Allegretto was an exercise in prop building. The dress itself was simple enough but the helmet was made from pink insulation foam with the details done in floor mat foam, and everything was mounted on a baseball cap. (which worked quite well, actually.) Behind the eye was window screen material spray painted gold so I could actually see moderately well for such a large headpiece. All in all it was a fun project and I’ve always loved RahXephon and the Mulians. It showed well in the hall but it wasn’t very comfortable or convenient due to its size. Unfortunately, its size also made it difficult to store safely and many of the points have since been damaged.
