This was a quick project at Halloween, dreamed up when I found the perfect combination of the giant wooden needle on Etsy combined with the lovely witchy shoes, and the tape measure ribbon. It all came together just in time for the Halloween photoshoot!
All of the fabrics chosen are sewing themed too- including the petticoat beneath it all!
The dress uses Simplicity pattern 8439 with no alterations except for fit. Petticoat pattern 8456 view C goes under it in the needle and pins patterned fabric though I altered it to be simply pulled on overhead rather than inserting a zipper.
